Recording voice overs doesn’t have to be complicated. With AI technology, you can quickly create high-quality voice overs for your projects. In this lesson, we’ll guide you through the process of using AI tools to generate clear and professional voice overs, making it easier to add narration to your content.

1. Creating a voice over

  1. Go to Eleven Labs and create an account.
  2. Log in and try adding a talk track from a recent presentation or a blog post you've worked on.
  3. Choose one of the voices (Michael is a pretty generic audiobook voice).
  4. Press Generate.

Now, imagine the possibilities. You could turn your blog posts and white papers into audiobooks, create explainer video voice overs, and much more.

2. Clone Your Own Voice

If you’re willing to spend $5 a month, you can even clone your own voice with just one minute of sample data.

Here’s an example of my voice clone. Considering I’ve never spoken those words, it’s really accurate. I tried calling my friends using the fake voice, and not one picked up that it wasn’t actually me.

To try it yourself, subscribe to a paid plan. Then, click “Voices” in the left-hand navigation, and select “Add a new voice” on the right-hand side. Choose “Instant Voice Cloning” and follow the instructions.
